Vladimir Putin

The President of Russia and a figure who has dominated the country's political landscape for over two decades. Putin's tenure is marked by an assertive foreign policy, a move toward centralized domestic control, and a direct challenge to the Western-led world order. His actions, particularly the invasion of Ukraine, have reshaped global geopolitics, energy markets, and international alliances. He remains one of the most controversial and scrutinised leaders in the world, viewed by supporters as a guardian of Russian strength and by critics as an authoritarian threat.
